Wine Country Modular:
Marriott Fairfield Inn

Tourism to northern California’s wine country is growing like the vines visitors come to celebrate, driving tremendous need for hospitality projects. To keep up with increasing demand while maintaining the exceptional quality well-to-do tourists expect, hotel companies like Marriott are turning to modular construction.

This 100-room Fairfield Inn & Suites is to be built in Rohnert Park, centrally located in Sonoma County near the Russian River Valley, Alexander Valley, and many renowned California breweries and wineries. It will be accessible by Smart Train from Santa Rosa airport and is a quick drive from downtown Santa Rosa’s restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions.

The hotel’s look sacrifices nothing for the sake of modular construction; instead, it demonstrates that designers have every opportunity to make a commercial property feel like home. The site-built lobby sports an open concept, with rustic wood accents, a fireplace, and chic modern décor. Atop the guest lobby will be four efficient modular stories of 100 suites assembled from 60 shipped modules, complete with all the contemporary comforts of home.

The Prefab Logic team helped the architect design this project for modular construction and is also providing project management services throughout the entire production process.
