Billed as the conference for those who design, make, and build the world around us, Autodesk University lands in Las Vegas on November 19th through 21st. Prefab Logic’s Co-founder Curtis Fletcher will be there as a featured presenter.
Autodesk University connects 10,000 professionals from construction, manufacturing, architecture, engineering, and media creation with four days of learning, networking, and knowledge sharing. Fletcher’s session, How to Take Volumetric Modular to the Next Level in Multiunit Construction, gives both comprehensive and practical looks at modular design and manufacturing.
“I’m excited to offer this session for such a wide range of professionals in this ever-growing industry,” Fletcher says. His preconference morning session on Nov. 18th from 8 am to 9 am is open to anyone, but especially geared to architects and design managers interested in large-scale residential or hospitality construction projects.
“Building Information Modeling technologies are really taking off. For modular construction, what this means in terms of prototyping and automation is off the charts,” he notes.
Fletcher’s session will cover how advanced VR technology and new software greatly improves the manufacturing outcome. Importantly, attendees will learn the foundational requirements of standardized modular design and best practices for implementing it.
